What are Thingamajiggers?
Think of Thingamajiggers as your High School Sports Team meeting one-hundred pounds of aluminum, steel, and wires. Our robotics team is an organization that excites students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and the arts. FIRST FRC is a varsity sport for the mind. Each year, our team works alongside professional mentors to construct a 120 pound robot that competes in the FIRST® Robotics Competition hosted by FIRST® Robotics, an International robotics organization dedicated to the inspiration of students of all ages. In recent years teams have created robots that can:
- Pick, Catch & Throw a 2 foot diameter ball
- Throw Frisbees into multi level goals
- Climb a ten foot tall pyramid.
- Shoot basketballs & play defense
- Balance on teeter totter bridges with other robots.
We are Robbinsdale Cooper High School's FIRST FRC Robotics team. We are the Thingamajiggers, Team 4277!
